The Relationship Between Only One and Sustainable Fashion Brands

Aiming to be a sustainable fashion brand, MEZUcofu is undertaking various initiatives.

One of these initiatives is to minimize fabric waste generated during production. As a result, some MEZUcofu products have unique patterns, making each item an ONLY ONE product.

There may be slight differences in the pattern from the photographed product, but this is because MEZUcofu aims to be a sustainable fashion brand and wants to share this vision with its customers.

Normally, producing patterned clothes or bags results in significant fabric waste to ensure uniform patterns.

The apparel industry's waste rate has become a serious global issue in recent years.

As a designer working in the apparel industry, I always had my doubts.

"Is matching patterns really a necessary waste?"

"How many people actually want an exact replica of the photographed product?"

Therefore, at the brand MEZUcofu, we intentionally stopped "matching patterns to create identical products."

This results in each item having a unique pattern, making it a one-of-a-kind product for our customers. If this is also good for the environment, I think it's even better.

We share with our customers that some MEZUcofu products have unique patterns, allowing them to enjoy sustainable fashion that is one-of-a-kind in the world.
